It’s hard to believe how much we’ve accomplished in our first 100 days in Mexico, and what still needs to be accomplished. Starting a new life in a foreign country is exciting, but it isn’t easy. We aren’t only in a foreign country, but in foreign territory when it comes to the basics of setting…
Welcome to Epicurean Expats! A Little About Us We are not 20-somethings trying to hit 30 countries before we are 30, and we are not retirees with a fixed income and time on our hands. We are a working couple who found a way to live our dream in other countries before retirement age….
We are midway through 2020, and I think everyone can agree that this year definitely needs a “do over”. Many of you, including us, had at least one trip planned overseas only to go through the annoying process of changing it or cancelling it all together. Travel came to a standstill this spring, and just…
Has this ever happened to you? You spend your vacation in some place fabulous, surrounded by the colors, sights, and smells of ancient traditions. You want to share your new love of this culture with your friends and family back home, so you pick up some souvenirs for them; some earrings for your neighbor,…
Queretaro’s Centro incorporates more than 204 blocks of history, politics, conspiracies, and even a love story, yet it is usually overlooked for its more famous neighbor San Miguel de Allende. There’s so much to see and do that skipping out on this UNESCO World Heritage Site would be a sad mistake. We recommend spending at…
